Superior craftsmanship and a team of young talented design professionals are thestrongest forces behind ORIGINS, an elegant home center located at LRI Bldg. 210 Nicanor Garcia St., Bel-Air, Makati City.

ORIGINS carries finely crafted home essentials including fabric and leather upholstered sofa set, recliners, dining sets, wooden and metal furniture, modular kitchen cabinets, and other stylish home accents. Established in 1999, ORIGINS primarily catered to the prime villages, offices, restaurants and hotels. Its prestige, however, has already transcended geographical barriers, attracting select clientele of prominent architectural and interior design companies for their respective projects in Metro Manila and the provinces.

The store carries a number of quality furniture brands including SMITH & BROWN, EZ CHAIR Recliners and Sofa beds, and TONES. We accept made to order furniture to meet the designers needs and specifications.

ORIGINS takes pride in being the sister company of Pacific Arts & Décor International Inc. and Asia Pacific Exim Trade, Inc. two of the most prominent furniture manufacturing and export companies of the Philippines.

At the helm of ORIGINS is Eugene Padiernos, son of Emmanuel P. Padiernos who is the President of PADI and APEX and former President of the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines. Needless to say, remarkable affiliations with industry leaders keep ORIGINS abreast with the latest design trends and innovations.

Three furniture carpenters sought the help of the Padiernoses in finding a means of livelihood, and the rest, as they say, is export history. Started in 1985 as a rattan and wicker furniture company, Pacific Arts and Décor International (PADI) ventured abroad the following year.

Today, PADI is the acknowledged pioneer in sofa beds - an emerging concept in space

planning and contract furniture. Its sofa beds and recliners are singled out for bringing out the Filipino character in a predominantly Western concept of furniture through indigenous wood carving, rattan and wicker weaves.

"Earning recognition for our achievement is our biggest fulfillment," says Emmanuel and Rosa Padiernos.
